Last night around 2 am, when I should have gone to bed, I decided to make a project. I recently went to a weekend retreat and had a wild hair to make one of the projects a friend of mine made from an idea she found on Pinterest. (lane swerve!...lol) I am slowly learning how to use Pinterest. I just need to remember this valuable tool is out there. You can find such cute ideas online, but dang like Facebook, it will suck you in and you are left with TV dinners for supper! Anyway, when I should have either gone to bed or continued with my paper sorting, I thought I would play. This month CTMH is focusing on the Charlotte collection. Such pretty papers. A soothing collection of our Champagne, Slate, Sorbet, Whisper, Black, and White Daisy colors. I also used my Springtime Wishes stamp set and the coordinating Thin Cuts dies. Yes.....we now are carrying dies to match a few of our stamp sets. Can you believe ONLY $13.95 each? Whoever heard of such ridiculous prices for either a stamp or die set??? Just a note...our Charlotte papers will be retiring at the end of our current Seasonal Expressions idea book. Better stock up now! I used one of papers to make this mini tissue box holder. I just love how it turned out. Thank you Shirley for the inspiration! A few years ago for one of my DT, I created a regular full size tissue box. I know it is buried somewhere in my blog here. I will find the link and get it posted. Enjoy this cute tissue box!

Charlotte and Springtime Wishes
Can you believe it? My scrapbook room is STILL clean? It has been around one month now since I finished cleaning it. There has been a lot of creating, but no mess left afterwards! Yay me! I am totally focused this time around in keeping things picked up and returned to where I found it. I spent just over three painful weeks, both days and nights of not crafting and only concentrating on getting the numerous piles off the floor and off my desk and Island where I play. My project now is to go through my Ikea Kallax shelving unit where I have eight of the sixteen cubicles designated for my 12x12 paper storage and get them tidy and organized. I have no clue on how to organize paper, but everyone seems to do it by colors. I have decided to start with sorting my papers by theme and then whatever is left over to sort by colors. I can already tell I have way too much beach and Christmas papers. I also have tons of page kits and paper collections that have never been opened or used! What a shame! Years ago I had an obsession with paper and bought and bought and bought every pretty paper I could find. Most of the paper was just too cute to cut. Not anymore! I will say I do not buy like this anymore. Being a Close To My Heart consultant has slowly taught me I don't need all of these other papers and collections to just sit and collect dust. I can enjoy looking at them yes but I stay plenty busy trying to use our paper collections, coordinating stamps and dies for my monthly classes and cards that I love making.
