Close To My Heart Stamps NOT Retiring

Okay ladies. Our CTMH retirement list has been sent out. I was not sure if this list could be released early to our customers, but I was reassured this week that it is allowed. The list is long, but I have a better list. Here is the list of stamps in our current Annual Inspirations that are NOT retiring! Much easier to mark your idea books using this method.
Keep in mind, during our March STAMPAGANZA promotion, when you order two regular priced (M, A, B, C, D, E) stamp sets you will receive a third (least expensive) stamp set for FREE! This is a great time to not miss out and order your favorite stamp sets that are scheduled to retire and any stamp sets that are on your Wish List.
The following stamp sets are NOT retiring.

A1170-Doodles Designs
A1180-Safari Ballet
A1182-Etched Alphabet

Penelope "Workshops Your Way" Scrapbooking Kit

Are you working on the Penelope "Workshops Your Way" kit this month? If so Close To My Heart has released four videos to help you with this. The first video is a quick visual showing the cutting guide. The second video goes over the layout assembly of all three two page layouts. Our third video shows how you can use your remaining workshop materials and a few extra supplies to make "eight" adorable cards. The fourth and final video shows how to make two complete pocket pages using all of your leftover papers and pictures, your Picture My Life cards, and any complements, Washi tape, or Puffies you may have left on hand. Our Workshops Your Way (WYW) Scrapbooking Kits are a great tool. The instructions for this kit are found quickly online.

The item number for this kit is ‪#‎G1106‬ at the cost of $26.95. This kit will be available until April 30, 2016. cherylarbo.ctmh.com

Charlotte and Springtime Wishes

Can you  believe it? My scrapbook room is STILL clean? It has been around one month now since I finished cleaning it. There has been a lot of creating, but no mess left afterwards! Yay me! I am totally focused this time around in keeping things picked up and returned to where I found it. I spent just over three painful weeks, both days and nights of not crafting and only concentrating on getting the numerous piles off the floor and off my desk and Island where I play. My project now is to go through my Ikea Kallax shelving unit where I have eight of the sixteen cubicles designated for my 12x12 paper storage and get them tidy and organized. I have no clue on how to organize paper, but everyone seems to do it by colors. I have decided to start with sorting my papers by theme and then whatever is left over to sort by colors. I can already tell I have way too much beach and Christmas papers. I also have tons of page kits and paper collections that have never been opened or used! What a shame! Years ago I had an obsession with paper and bought and bought and bought every pretty paper I could find. Most of the paper was just too cute to cut. Not anymore! I will say I do not buy like this anymore. Being a Close To My Heart consultant has slowly taught me I don't need all of these other papers and collections to just sit and collect dust. I can enjoy looking at them yes but I stay plenty busy trying to use our paper collections, coordinating stamps and dies for my monthly classes and cards that I love making.

Last night around 2 am, when I should have gone to bed, I decided to make a project. I recently went to a weekend retreat and had a wild hair to make one of the projects a friend of mine made from an idea she found on Pinterest. (lane swerve!...lol) I am slowly learning how to use Pinterest. I just need to remember this valuable tool is out there. You can find such cute ideas online, but dang like Facebook, it will suck you in and you are left with TV dinners for supper! Anyway, when I should have either gone to bed or continued with my paper sorting, I thought I would play. This month CTMH is focusing on the Charlotte collection. Such pretty papers. A soothing collection of our Champagne, Slate, Sorbet, Whisper, Black, and White Daisy colors. I also used my Springtime Wishes stamp set and the coordinating Thin Cuts dies. Yes.....we now are carrying dies to match a few of our stamp sets. Can you believe ONLY $13.95 each? Whoever heard of such ridiculous prices for either a stamp or die set???  Just a note...our Charlotte papers will be retiring at the end of our current Seasonal Expressions idea book. Better stock up now! I used one of papers to make this mini tissue box holder. I just love how it turned out. Thank you Shirley for the inspiration! A few years ago for one of my DT, I created a regular full size tissue box. I know it is buried somewhere in my blog here. I will find the link and get it posted. Enjoy this cute tissue box!

Oh joy....Coordinating Stamp Sets & Thin Cuts Dies!!

Have you heard the news? Close To My Heart now has COORDINATING DIES for four of our "brand new" stamp sets in our "brand new" Seasonal Expressions! I ordered three of our coordinating stamp & die sets, but because of the Holiday's I just have not had time to play with them. This week I have been cleaning out and organizing my scrapbook room. It was a bad mistake to clean off my work station first instead of last. Once my desk was clean, I lost all of my motivation to continue cleaning and pulled out one of the sets and had fun playing. Oh man....I still am amazed that we now offer both the four coordinating dies and stamps sets and our five Cricut cartridges and fifteen coordinating stamp sets!

Please enjoy my first card I made today using our new "Spring Critters" stamp set, coordinating Thin Cuts dies, and our Zoe paper collection. I have also included a picture of the actual stamps and dies to drool over! lol I love these adorable critters and already have several sketches made to use them in other projects.

If you would like to own a set of these stamps and coordinating dies, I would love to order them for you. You may order directly from me at cherylarbo.ctmh.com and your order will be delivered to your doorstep generally within seven days. Don't forget to click on the option of receiving a FREE copy of our new Seasonal Expressions with your order!

Close To My Heart ShinHan TouchTwin Marker Color Chart

Have you seen our ShinHan TouchTwin Marker Color Chart? A super cool tool to enable you to recreate our Close To My Heart ink colors using a blend of our alcohol markers. This is a great reference chart to print out and store with your Close To My Heart markers for future projects. Close To My Heart has done all of the homework for us and made our joy of coloring much easier!

To use this chart, punch out a 1" cardstock circle from the Close To My Heart color you wish to re-create using markers. Attach the punched cardstock circle over the first blank circle of a pair on the sheet. Referencing the formula listed, color in the remaining blank circle in the pair using your ShinHan™ Touch Twin™ markers. Currently Pixie is the only color that does not have a recommended color match.

Here is a list of our current twenty-nine alcohol markers available. Just as a reminder, you need to use either our Timber Brown or Tuxedo Black Memento Ink when using our alcohol markers. Our water based dye inks and StazOn solvent inks are not recommended. Enjoy!

Happy Stamping............Cheryl

Thinking of You Card

Today I am posting a card that I created late last night when I should have long been in bed. It's crazy how your mind picks the oddest ...
